Job Title: CT Tech Imaging Specialist
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Shift: Five 8hr shifts, Primarily 7a-3.30p shift 40hr guarantee
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
As a CT Tech Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic Computerized Tomography (CT) scans on patients in order to create detailed images of internal organs, tissues, and bones. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Prepare and position patients for CT scans following proper procedures and safety guidelines.
2. Operate CT scanner equipment to capture detailed images of patients' organs and tissues.
3. Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to review and analyze imaging results.
4. Maintain accurate imaging records and patient information.
5. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
6. Monitor and maintain CT equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
2. ARRT certification in CT imaging - REQUIRED
3. State licensure as a CT Technologist.
4. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
5. Must have completed formal JRCERT approved Radiologic Technology Program.
6. Prior experience in CT imaging is preferred.
